I went to a dog wedding yesterday

I had never been to any animal wedding before. I found out about the wedding from a dog in Union Square last Thursday.

On the day of the wedding I didn’t really feel like going, but I needed wedding experience and who knows when I’ll be able to attend another animal wedding. The ceremony was sweet, quick, simple, and no one pooped. After the dog treats were exchanged cake for humans was served and gift bags were handed out. I hope Mr. Reese Kraft the Puggle & Ms. Zoe Lasorda the Chihuahua have a wonderful life together. Click the pic below for more wedding photos.

I’ve been going on job interviews

not because I want to, but because my mother isn’t happy when I don’t have money to give her. I’ve been doing my own job searches, and am still looking for the right opportunity for me. I agree to go on her job interviews so I don’t have to hear her nagging. My most recent interview was at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum. The job sounded good and I got an immediate response to my application. I did well during the interview, but didn’t get the position. I was glad they chose someone other than me, because after the interview process I realized I was no longer interested in the job. After the interview I was told to explore the museum and I did.

I frequented the museum when I was a kid and it was fun to be back walking through the tunnel of “dirty water” as my mom called it. It saddened me that I am too tall now to discreetly glide my hand through the dirty water. The museum has a lot of fake animal habitat displays and when I came across a real one I wasn’t sure if the turtle and snake inside were real. When they saw me they froze, but then went back to what they were doing. The turtle didn’t seem too thrilled to be living with the snake; especially, since it had no respect for personal space.

Next door to the snake/turtle tank were frogs. They were not as entertaining.
